Zoobi Dobi Zobi Dobi Param Pa....

A long wait reading the reviews, watching the previews and finally I gave myself a bollywood treat watching 3 IDIOTS!!!!!
Humming my way day and night,
Zoobi Doobi Zooobi doobi param paaaaa...
Humko tho hein rahein banati, Woh kudko hi rahe banata, Girtha Sambhaltha masti mein phirtha tha woh....
I realize running behind dreams kind of movies have always been my favourite. Chinnari Mutta was the first movie of such influence on me.
Watching such movies in theatre I convince myself to whisper YES..I will pursue my passion. Then another famous question haunts what's my passion?
The one reason why students don't pursue what they like could be because their passion is unexplored.
If a kid has a painter inside him he should have been given a Brush,
If a kid has a potter inside him he should have been given clay,
If a kid has a designer inside him he should have been given sketch book,
If a kid has a photographer inside him he should have been given pin hole camera,

The key would be to let each of try to pursue our hobby as profession. I guess this would be a right way.....................

Flying flying all the way..

Walking on the frosty white powder which could be used on birthday cakes (you can blow it right off, much fun and easier than candle),I found a warm log of wood. A small hole in it enough to fit my hand, I wondered who uses this hideaway. Trying hard to take a close look at what lies inside I tried to sway my head in all the directions. Just as my head and eyes got glued to the log, I started drawing pictures about the world inside.

A small house of a Bird. With tiny bottles named Rice, Wheat, Corn, Dry Fruits stacked tidily up on a wall. Glasses to fit a molecule of water. Small swings hanging all over with the focal point being a keyhole sized glass where the bird could enjoy the view of the endless sky. A closet with bits of cloth sewed together with twigs, tripod shaped socks, colored cone shaped beak protectors. Evergreen leaves laid out as carpet. Fireplace not enough to fit a full sized matchstick. A door to fly their way into the Open Sky. Equipped to be a cozy place was a petite hole with nobody in it!!!!

Wondering which beautiful mind owns this warm little place I strolled ahead blowing off the snow smoke of my shoes. Has the bird found a new house, Had it flew to get some grains, Had the birds flew for a holiday vacation to a warmer place, many questions with eager to find answers I wandered around the log.

A few steps ahead I looked high on the tree to find a small pear shaped bird enjoying the view of the white wonder falling all around it. Yes, To the joy of my heart I had found the owner of the beautiful nest "Miss. Clutter".

Huge white blanket moving in a steady pace..
Long hair not shampooed for years..
Belly huge with 100's of doughnuts filled in them..
Perfect circle with Sparkling blue dot eyes staring with a twinkle..
Juggling me in the air tickling when I land on its hand..
Red as a cherry with glistening shine on its huge mouth..
Necklace made of red, blue, green presents hanging around chubby neck..
Drilling puddles to make a hot bath in freezing temperatures are the nails..
Smile filled with shiny, strong flakes that fills my heart with a smile!!!!!!!

Screen with huge image of the cute Snow monster rolled front of my eyes when I set my foot on the white melting sugar...

The Gold Wonder

Have heard about the city of Gold. I saw it LIVE!!

Vellore - SRIPURAM
Let me start right from the entrance of the temple. Good roads which lead you to temple, reasonable food arrangements in the campus, neat surroundings, good arrangements and very high security[This is for the amount of gold there ;-)]. These were my initial impressions of the temple.

After about 220km of journey from Bangalore, tired and hungry we decided to have food in the HUGE hotel(which looks like a choultry) run by the Narayani Peetam itself. Considering the fact we were hungry to eat the gold if we could digest it, we enjoyed the authentic south Indian mini meal. After having nice lunch we decided we wanted to see the temple when the moon smiles at the Gopuram, we headed towards Ratnagiri.

Ratnagiri about 20 km from Sripuram is on a small hill top. Our qualis had to go through 2 Hair pin bends to reach the HILL Top :P. The temple in the outdoors itself looked very huge. The Bala Murugan there seem to invite every devotee with a tiny smile. I was tempted to try shouting my name in the temple looking at the height of the roof(May be I would have heard the echo and Murugan shouting back to keep silent). After the short visit to the Ratnagiri temple we headed towards Sripuram again.

Entered SriPuram with the 100Rupees ticket called as the Divya Darshanam Seva.(they have Dharma Darshanam as well) The security here is very high. Every small bag and plastic cover is scanned. We started walking towards the temple looking at the water fountains on the path way. We could see greenery everywhere. And there I enjoyed the glimpse of the gold Gopuram. I was waiting for more gold to shine at me. Very neatly maintained lawn with nicely sculptured idols of saptarishi's, Lakshmi seemed to increase my expectation of what lies ahead. The star shaped lighting in the lawns seemed to remind me the that the temple by itself is in star shape. Security seems to be there everywhere. Personally I was impressed by a Devi Idol in between the branches of the tree with the focus on that welcoming smile on her face. As I walked in this Star shaped marvel I had no words to describe the intricate work on the Golden Gopuram. With the lights on, I thought the temple had a corona which is just glowing glowing and glowing. I could see the effort of 6 years that went into the construction of this Wonder.
As I got close to the Garbha Gudi I felt like I was getting closer to the Ramanand version's(the famous mythological series of Ramayana on TV) of the Swarga Loka. I could only wish I could see the 3 beautiful women in his court dancing Ramba Urvashi meneke dancing to entertain me. Leaving the fantasies apart, I entered the temple. I had no words, the adjectives I could gather then were GOLD GOLD GOLD!!! I sound like the greedy king who turned everything he touched into gold.

Beautiful, Shining with Glory, Mystical!!!!!!
All the wonderful adjectives for the architecture, design and the effort that has gone into the construction of this marvelous temple.

The Best part is the whole temple seems to be floating on water. Surrounded by water I could see the reflection of the wonder yellow metal in it(thanks to the 100 bucks we paid which allowed us to go in the innermost ring of the temple).
Elephants on pillars welcoming with their trunks raised,
Swans fluttering their wings enjoying the hustle of so many devotees,
Dancers and musicians giving their best performances,
Small gopurams trying to give a tough competition to the huge intricately designed ones,
The Goddess of prosperity smiling in all directions,
All this and more and more of GOLD!!

As I was nearing the entrance of garbha gudi, I realized the goddess who sits amidst all this splendid work must be welcoming every devotee of hers.
I was watching MahaLakshmi with my jaws dropped. I was very sure the Magic mirror would say she is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL and GRACEFUL woman on earth.

I came out with the images of the goddess everywhere.
This is a temple which I was very very impressed with and would recommend everybody to visit at least once even though you have to stand in the long queues.
Its a TRULY WORTH IT experience to be felt.

Lights, Camera and Action

Lights!!!!!!!!!!

There comes the sun with all the helium in him burning. He first meddles with the edge of the sea. Slowly he starts gazing at the beautiful creation around him. Looking into the huge mirror called the ocean he smiles and says "I LOOK BEAUTIFUL". Small birds singing to him good morning. Clouds greeting him "how u doing today". The trees wafting in the breeze and blowing his rays of him. The tiny drops on the leaves say to him "we shine for u". Mist wants to be his balnket for a while. The whole world looks like animated movie to him. Small tiny creatures running around to find him glowing with pride the next day. He says to himself "AM THE MASTER".

Camera!!!!!!!!

Slept the other night thinking of the gloomy day I had. Hoping to find a better picture of a day tomorrow. Open my eyes to see rays of "THE MASTER" peeping through the window. He says to me "Look at me shining with all pomp and glory". I reluctantly move a inch of the bed cover, close my eyes, move the bed cover back. After a lot of so called effort to wake up open the eyes hoping to click a beautiful silhouette for the day. And here I set myself off to a day long journey!!!

Action!!!!!!!!!

A step outside my house "THE MASTER" laughs at me. He starts looking at the movie. He thinks, Here goes a spice girl. Ufff!!!!!!!! Tom and Jerry are still sleeping. When will Dennis start his pranks. Uncle scrooche wake up its time for you to count your money. Pop eye feed urself with lot of spinach you have a whole new day to fight. Mickey get hold of pluto. Miney get hold of Mickey. Donald stop hunting for chip and dale. Goofy its time u learn a few things. Coffe toffee coffee toffee and the fight never ends!!!!!!!!!!
